"Ain't Misbehavin'" has only a few performances left at African Globe TheatreWorks - catch it while you can.

Fans of the company's dramatic productions know that Reginald James is a fine actor. Now they'll be delighted by his musical skills. Though James does not possess a distinguished voice, he knows that acting a song is just as important, and he gives a winning interpretation of Fats Waller's words and music, punctuating them with deft tap dancing.

Sahirah Johnson has the imperious authority demanded by the role originated by Nell Carter. Scott Stewart growls like a grizzly, but has the charm of a teddy bear. Kathy D. Harrison and Lynette Braxton are added delights.
